There has been a web “over the top” of my lanai door. We noticed the spider looked like it had a shell of some sort and when we researched, we found it was a spiny orb-weaver. The webs are a perfect circle and it’s funny watching the spider weave it. Looking really close, you can see it has red horns on it. Unfortunately I don’t have a zoom lens for my good camera, so I shot this with my PowerShot camera. Not a crsip picture, but the spider is cool!

  1. This is a very good shot, the webbing and horns of the spider are great. It would be more crisp and even more detailed with a zoom, but this is still good.
